Awesome! My leg seems to have calmed down. I was pretty scared the hamstring was going to go on me all day Tuesday. It was constantly twinging but I resisted temptation to do any exercise and I think sense has paid off. I really want to get back into the jogging but not until I've shifted some weight. In a perverse way it will be a reward for getting fitter/shedding some stones.
Got time to setup my bike after work today. There wasn't much to do in the end. I sorted out my seat height and gave the tyres a bit of air. Rear flasher was fixed to my wedge bag and made sure that contained a multitool, innertube and levers.
Of course I had to take it for a spin before dinner and games night! Just a quick once round the block and round the corner. A couple more saddle adjustments and the legs felt good again.
I also got Mapmyrun on the iphone. I linked it to Twitter and did a test on the blast around the block and it seems pretty good. I'll have to play with some of the other features as it does quite a lot.
So that's about it for the day unfortunately. I plan to get out over the weekend now. I can't believe it's Friday tomorrow already! Might spend some time planning a route at lunchtime tomorrow and get on it early Saturday morning. I'm gonna try to get out Friday night too for a little blast around the neighbourhood.
