Went a touch further today, similar format; flat/downhill for a couple of miles then back up again to home, got about 100ft if elevation in over about a mile.
I'm not really setting a distance or a time limit to my rides, just bimbling about and checking Strava when I think I am roughly half way or feel like heading back. Today I checked it and I'd just hit 2miles. Got home after the climb at 3.7miles.
I am also trying to include some off road sections which are nothing more than riding on grass at the moment. It is pretty different to riding on tarmac so worth getting used to. If I'm to go riding with my mates it will likey be on trails so I need to get used to it.
Got a chance to test my brakes out today as well and was happy they performed admirably! :)
